Robert (Rob) Krehbiel III, a member of the fourth generation of the Krehbiel family to manage the company, serves as Chief Executive Officer at CJK. In his role, he manages sales and marketing, oversees the long-range strategic planning and corporate vision of the 132-year old company. He also manages CJK's human resource processes, including health and safety.
Since joining the company in 1972, Mr. Krehbiel has held many different positions, including Vice President, President, and Chief Operating Officer
In his current role, Mr. Krehbiel frequently interacts with CJK's customers by conducting pricing analysis and reviews, and routinely visiting top accounts. He participates in all CJK's trade shows. He is known for being deeply engrained in the company and for understanding the book business extremely well.
Mr. Krehbiel received an undergraduate degree in psychology from Davidson College (North Carolina), and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati. While in college, Mr. Krehbiel worked in CJK's pressroom, prep area and bindery.
Mr. Krehbiel was named Printer of the Year by the Cincinnati Printing Week Council in 1998, the same award his father won 25 years earlier. In 2002, he was inducted in the Printing Impressions/ RIT Printing Industry Hall of Fame. He currently serves on the board of ST Media Group, a visual communications organization in downtown Cincinnati
Mr. Krehbiel lives in Mt. Lookout with his wife, Jan, and their teenage daughter. They also have two grown children. In his free time, he enjoys bike riding, playing guitar and performing in a rock-opera called Dear Christians.
