Charles (Tuck) W. Krehbiel, a member of the fourth generation of the Krehbiel family to manage the company, serves as Chief Operating Officer at CJK. In his role, he has executive responsibility for production capability and capacity at the 132-year old company. Mr. Krehbiel also monitors technology trends, an important task in a printing company that houses the latest printing presses as well as the largest bindery in the Midwest.
Since joining the company in 1973, Mr. Krehbiel has held many different positions, including Plant Manager, Vice President, Chief Executive Officer, as well as a stint in Customer Service.
Mr. Krehbiel likes to challenge CJK with increasingly difficult, high-quality work, in order to diversify the company's customer base, and leave lower-quality printers behind. We're committed to solving production challenges other printers have turned down, he says.
Mr. Krehbiel is a graduate of Denison University and belongs to the Printing Industries Association, Inc., Northern Kentucky and Ohio (PIANKO), an organization that provides programs, services, and promotes an environment which assists members to improve profitability, adapt to the future and support the printing industry.
As a printer, it is natural that Mr. Krehbiel is attracted to the visual arts and visual communication. He has spent more than twenty-five years researching and procuring fine art photography prints. He is a trustee of the Art Academy of Cincinnati where he has taken drawing and photography classes offered by the institution's Community Education Department. In 2004, he was inducted in the Printing Impressions/RIT Printing Industry Hall of Fame.
Mr. Krehbiel lives in Indian Hill with his wife, Deb. They have two grown sons, including Doug, who represents the fifth generation to be employed at CJK.
