  •  PLATEMAKER / PROOFREADER

    Do you like working on those puzzles where you find the differences between two pictures?

    • Basic Computer skills – must enter data using both MAC & PCs
    • Basic understanding of handling chemicals

    • Able to fold down and proofread imposed inkjet proofs that may got  customers.

     - Monitoring the status of customer orders and coordinates communication between the customer and internal departments.

  •  MAILING COORDINATOR

    We are looking for someone who excels at:

     

    Coordinating and preparing postal paperwork and shipments.

     

    Working closely with the sales, estimating, CSRs and finishing operators on all mailing, ink jetting and postal regulation issues.

     

    Ensuring every order is produced to order specs while meeting delivery deadlines.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Mail list processing and preparation of USPS Postal paperwork
    • Import, process, and output customer mailing lists.
    • NCOA, CASS certify, add USPS data (zip 4, DPBC, etc.).
    • Demonstrate a complete knowledge of postal regulations. Understand drop shipment procedures, expedited services, international mailing, mailing permit applications, small equipment procurement and mail piece design.
    • Works directly with customers when file problems arise.
    • Work with customers and their data houses to facilitate properly prepared materials for mailing.
    • Assist in determining best mailing strategy for customer and in mail piece design
    • Prepare proper documentation, including mock-ups and layout information.
    • Prepare and trouble shoot files to be output as an ink jet file or label file.
    • Create bag tags and postal forms.
    • Calculate the dollar amount of the postage.
    • Manage the mailing schedule for mail status.
    • Prepare 8125 Consolidated Mailing Statements and packing list.
    • Coordinate drop shipments with companies on BMC and SCF insertions.
    • Perform conversions to RP formats.
    • Consult with Project Managers, Planners, Finishing and Shipping department.
    • Coordinate with Shipping for daily mail drops.
    • Per customer request, provides quantities mailed by source codes.
    • Ensure that all finished products are acceptable quality and produced according to schedule.
    • Advise ink jet production personnel regarding data set up.
    • Works closely with postal representatives on regulation issues.
    • Work directly with the Sales Team and clients as a resource for design
    • Audit production output quality, investigate and initiate corrective action on substandard jobs.
    • Responsible for checking drop ship list for accuracy of names, addresses, quantities, etc. as provided by customer.
    • Data entry and list maintenance.
    • Develop new procedures to improve production efficiencies.
    • Train employees on postal issues.
    • Assist with the UPS and Federal Express distribution systems.
    • Process completed mail jackets for billing on a daily basis

     

    Please note this is a contract position for approximately 20-24 hours/month @ negotiated wage
